The challenge

Our client had all informations of individuals such as names, addresses, professions, etc in papers and word documents and needed a system to store them in a database so that he could generate reports and get stats if needed.
The client had no database system, no server and requested to have a desktop application to run on his computer as well as those for his assistants.

Solution

Our developers provided the client with a user-friendly desktop application where it was easy to add, remove or update informations about individuals registered. More than 3000 data were added in a month and another 3000 with a parsing created (with PHP/XML) to extract data from Word documents format and insert them into the database using csv files.

Easy to use interfaces built in JAVA with JFrame enable the client to add, update, remove or search informations by using specific criteria on individuals in the system. All informations are displayed in tables and can be exported as csv files to generate reports and stats or in other platform.

we had also created a desktop application named BusinessBook for small businesses and sole proprietorship to manage stock inventory, sales, clients' contact information, suppliers, ... and generate reports.
